 Pastor Bob Ballou

Bob and Sharon Ballou have been married for forty-one years, and God has blessed them with six children and nine grandchildren. Bob was saved as a seven-year-old child during Vacation Bible School at Goodheart Bible Church. It was during his time in the Navy that he developed a heart for the Philippines and began to preach. It was also during that time that he met Sharon who had been saved as a child when someone from Main Street Baptist Church in Harbor Springs, MI came and conducted a Bible club on her back porch.

Before starting Maple City Baptist Church, they spent twenty six years supplying literature and other resources to the Philippines by  shipping semi-containers filled with Bibles, gospel tracts, hymnals and other literature and items for missionaries to the Philippines and by operating a printing ministry where millions of gospel tracts, Bibles, and other resources were printed for the thousands of churches and missionaries there. God has used them to reach many people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
